Leatherface, whose real name is Bubba Sawyer, is a central antagonist in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" horror film franchise. He first appeared in the original 1974 film, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", directed by Tobe Hooper.
He is characterized by his grotesque appearance and his disturbing habit of wearing masks made of human skin, hence the moniker Leatherface. His masks are created from the victims of the Sawyer family.
